What we keep, and why.
This site keeps what it needs to hold a pre-order, answer a message and — only with your consent — understand how it is used. No advertising trackers, no data sales, no profiling for marketing.
Who is responsible
The controller for the personal data described here is ERONIX, info@eronix.eu (“ERONIX”, “we”).
Pre-orders
When you place a pre-order we record your name, email address, country, the quantity, the language you used, the applicable VAT rate, the reference we give you, the time of the request and the fact that you consented to this processing. We use these details to hold your pre-order, to write to you to confirm it and arrange payment, and to deliver the folio. The legal basis is the performance of the steps you have asked for before a contract is concluded (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without these details we cannot hold a pre-order.
Support messages
When you write to us we keep your name, email address, your message and, if you give it, your reference, in order to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where the message concerns an order, the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Cookies and settings
The site sets no cookies. It stores your choice of country and language, and your cookie decision, in your browser's local storage so that it can remember them on your next visit. These entries are strictly necessary for the service you asked for and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data. You can change your decision under Cookie settings in the footer at any time.
Analytics — only with your consent
If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, the site measures how it is used with its own, first-party analytics. Nothing is shared with advertising networks. The measurement records, for each visit: the pages viewed and the time spent on them, scrolling, clicks and the parts of the page that were visible, whether a form was started or submitted (never what was typed), technical characteristics of your device and browser (screen size, operating system, browser, language, time zone, connection type, graphics hardware identifier), the referring site and campaign parameters, page performance measurements, an identifier stored in your browser to recognise a returning visit, and — added by our server when the data is received — your IP address and the approximate location derived from it (country, region, city).
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in your country). You can withdraw consent at any time under Cookie settings in the footer; the visitor identifier is deleted from your browser when you do. The site honours the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, analytics stay off even after you accept them. Analytics data are kept for 13 months and then deleted.
Hosting, storage and email
The site, the pre-order and support records and the analytics data are hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Emails we send you are delivered through Twilio SendGrid, Inc., 1801 California Street, Denver, CO 80202, USA. Both act as our processors under data processing agreements that incorporate the European Commission's standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the European Economic Area, together with the additional safeguards those clauses require. Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); these logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Records are also accessible to the people at ERONIX who handle pre-orders and support. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Pre-order records are kept while the pre-order is open and deleted when you cancel or when we cannot fulfil it. Once an order is concluded, the order record is kept for as long as tax and commercial law require, which is up to ten years. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve them and for up to two years afterwards. Analytics data are kept for 13 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw a consent you have given, with effect for the future. Write to us or email info@eronix.eu and we will act on the request within a month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live.
